Tea Forté’s Jasmine Chamomile is an exceptional green tea blend, pairing the soothing properties of chamomile with the sophistication of jasmine green tea. This tea is as beautiful to behold with the eye as it is on the tongue, featuring visible flower buds nestled into the leaves. Layers of lemon complete the flavor profile, with organic lemon myrtle and lemon peel bringing a soft zing into the blend for balance.

The word chamomile comes to us from the Greek khamaimēlon, which means “earth apple.” This name is more than appropriate, given the familiar sense of comfort and nourishment we receive from the taste of chamomile tea. These lovely flower buds are joined by organic jasmine green tea, which is produced with care through a fascinating process. Tea leaves are layered with jasmine petals in the evening, as the flowers unfurl and release their scent into the leaves. Blended with soothing chamomile and uplifting lemon, the result is an ethereal tea blend meant to soothe and reassure.

When enjoying a cup of Jasmine Chamomile, a spoonful of sugar or honey brings the lemon closer to the forefront as the flowers harmonize in the background. To avoid bitterness from the delicate green tea leaves, this blend should never be steeped for more than 4 minutes.
