Tea Forté’s Iced Orange Papaya is an alluring black tea blend bringing together the tangy goodness of orange peel and sweet lushness of ripe papaya. This bold, pleasant iced tea is citrus-forward, leading with the familiar sweetness of orange and giving way to a juicy papaya note in the middle. Balanced by lemon myrtle and a touch of grapefruit, it delivers a satisfying tanginess that soon dissolves into a mellow finish. This amber-hued tea offers a sweet moment of repose with naturally present caffeine to reinvigorate the body and mind.
Black tea is one of the most well-known forms of tea. It is harvested from the mature leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant, which also gives us green, white and oolong tea. Black tea leaves undergo a more rigorous process of rolling and oxidation than their lighter, younger counterparts, coaxing out their darker color and more complex flavors and aromas. As a result, black tea is one of the most robust of all tea varieties and can be steeped longer and in slightly hotter water to bring out its flavor. It also lends itself well to a touch of sugar or citrus garnish for those who enjoy an accoutrement or two.
